I like the spontaneous aspect of photography. It is the way life generally is and we enjoy storytelling life in that way. We focus our photography on texture, emotion, color, and adding fresh perspectives to our work. We have over 200weddings under our belt and also a lot of experience in portrait, commercial and editorial work.

Because I've been asked the question many times, "What sets you a part from other photographers?" I would say I have a broad international and diverse photography experience, a four year degree in Photography and a lot of joy and passion for my work. I don't think having a degree in itself is what speaks "professional" but it does say I am passionate and that I've spent time and money to educate myself in being professional.

Unlike some photographers we edit all of our own work from capturing it to when you receive the final product. We believe that you don't just hire us to take the photos but you also hire us as artists which means we put our custom touches on every photo you receive. 80% of being a photographer is how you edit and we take that vary serious. We always strive to learn and grow as a photographers are very picky about our end product that our clients receive.

Prior to starting Fletch Photography here in Hawaii, I have worked with several companies and non profit organizations as a lead photographer. I have a lot of experience working as a team player and I apply that to working with my clients by listening to their ideas opinions and what their needs are. I've faced many challenges in my work and I've realized that photography is my passion because I've been able to push on through those challenges. I have learned more in traveling than I think any book or classroom has provided for me because of the drastic perspective change and outlook on life traveling has done for me. I've been privileged to have lived in 6 countries, traveled to 15 countries and realized that our world is challenging, beautiful, exciting, and very diverse in cultures and people which makes it so incredible to experience.

I am married to a Beautiful Japanese woman (Miho). Miho is an art major and makes me better just by being who she is. Miho has an amazing eye and creative sense of the surroundings she is in. She also is the best cook I've ever met. She speaks better English than I do and did I mention she is also a photographer and has studied photography. We shot our first wedding together in 2002 but did not work together again until we were engaged in 2007. We now are working as a team because we like creating together.
